In 2005 my love of knitting and my desire to share this passion inspired me to open Knitting by the Beach. I wanted to create an environment where people could come together to explore creativity, and enjoy the therapeutic aspects of knitting.
I am continuously fascinated and inspired by beautiful textures of yarn. I was especially intrigued by Japanese yarns with their unique and understated beauty. Mixing them with more traditional yarns to create new designs, while incorporating some of the elements of Japanese aesthetics became the genesis for my first book, Haiku Knits.
You will find my book and some of my new kits available to purchase on this site. Take a look around, feel free to browse. Thanks for stopping by and happy knitting!
